The Tacktick T222 is a wireless, solar powered wind transmitter that is designed to lift the wind sensor into clearer air. This extra height (4.5 feet /1.35m) enables the T222 to provide highly accurate readings for True Wind Speed and True Wind Angle by reducing errors from disturbed wind flow around the mast head. This added elevation also dramatically reduces upwash when sailing downwind, providing you with accurate readings for performance functions. The T222 features a three screw attachment that allows easy installation with the mast in place.
