The Rigging Shoppe

Real advice. Reliable gear. Since 1969.

• 55+ years serving boaters
• Rigging, safety, and setup support
• Staff who actually use the gear

Not sure what you need? Ask us. That’s what we’re here for.

The Rigging Shoppe has been helping sailors and power boaters get on the water with confidence since 1969.

Founded by Bruce and Shirley Burgess, the shop was built on straightforward values: good gear, fair prices, and advice you can trust.

Their daughter Carolyn carried that forward, growing the business into a place where boaters could rely on knowledgeable, practical support—not guesswork.

Today, Paul and Diane Reid continue that tradition. Whether you’re outfitting a new boat, replacing critical safety gear, or figuring out what actually works, the focus is the same: helping you get it right before you leave the dock
