The "TFP" style tiller extension is constructed of white powder coated anodized aluminum with a rubber ball style comfortable grip and stainless steel end fittings.

Forespar "twist-lock" style tiller extensions are designed to work in either direction, this design has the advantage that if you forget which way you "locked" the unit, you can "unlock" it without forcing it to jam. Racers and cruisers use this rugged twist-lock telescoping detachable extension on boats in the mid to high 30's. Because they are detachable, they need not be stored on the tiller. The all stainless steel "TFP" quick release end allow for full horizontal and vertical movement of the tiller extension and it can be removed with the simple push of a button located on the top of the fitting.
