The VE.Bus BMS V2 is a Battery Management System designed to interface with and protect Victron Lithium Battery Smart 12.8V & 25.6V (LiFePO4 or LFP) batteries. It works seamlessly with systems that have Victron inverters or inverter/chargers with VE.Bus communication, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
This BMS monitors individual cell voltage and temperature, providing protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, and temperature extremes. It generates pre-alarm signals for imminent cell undervoltage conditions, disables inverting in VE.Bus inverters or inverter/chargers, and disconnects other loads and chargers when necessary.
Key features include remote on/off terminals, the ability to disable VE.Direct and VE.Can solar chargers via a GX device, and control of the VE.Bus inverter/charger from multiple devices like the Digital Multi Control, VE.Bus Smart dongle, and GX device. Auxiliary power input and output terminals ensure a GX device remains powered during system shutdowns.
