The Icom IC-M94D is a floating handheld VHF built for boaters who want serious safety in a compact package. This powerful handheld combines Class H DSC with an integrated AIS receiver, helping keep vessel traffic and emergency communication right in hand.

As the world’s first handheld VHF with built-in AIS, the IC-M94D displays nearby vessel information and allows easy AIS target DSC calling. A dedicated rear distress button makes sending emergency alerts fast and simple when seconds count.

With 6 watts of transmit power and a high capacity 2400 mAh Li-ion battery, this handheld VHF delivers extended range and up to 10 hours of typical operation. Loud, clear audio comes courtesy of a class-leading 1500 mW speaker designed for noisy marine environments.

Float’n Flash technology ensures the radio floats, flashes, and alarms if dropped overboard. When activated, the distress button can also send an MOB alert for added protection during man overboard situations.
