Each Plastic Boat Repair Kit contains 8.4 ounces of pre-thickened G/flex epoxy, protective gloves, mixing pallets and mixing sticks. Illustrated, detailed instructions explain how to repair splits and cracks in plastic boats, attach or repair reinforcement points on inflatable boats and repair pinhole leaks in inflatables.

G/flex Epoxy is toughened, with a modulus of elasticity of 150,000 psi, and is a bit more flexible than standard epoxies and polyester, but much stiffer than adhesive sealants. This gives G/flex the ability to make structural bonds that can absorb the stresses of expansion, contraction, shock and vibration. It is ideal for permanent waterproof bonding of dissimilar materials, fiberglass, ceramics, metal, plastics, damp and difficult-to-bond woods.
Mixed at a 1-1 mix ratio, G/flex gives you 75 minutes of working time at room temperature. It reaches an initial cure in 7-10 hours and a full cure in 24 hours
