When the compressor is running, the R5810 draws only 4.4 amps 12 Volts DC - less than 0.5 amps on the 120VAC option. All Nova Kool Refrigerators and Freezers are equipped with a highly efficient variable speed Danfoss BD series compressor that is designed to run even while you are listed at a 30° angle.

Average power use will vary depending on ambient temperature and how often the door is opened etc. but you can expect the R5810 to use less than 45 amp hours per day at 30C ambient temperature.
