The Radials grip works like a screw which drives the line downwards when easing to keep it on the part of the drum where you have best control. The strong, one-piece stripper arm completely covers the winch top for a stable platform that prevents fingers & clothing from catching in moving parts, whilst the composite self-tailing jaws are shaped for easy line entry and optimum gripping power. The composite roller bearings and bushings reduce friction under load, have excellent corrosion resistance and don't require lubrication and also mean that the winch is 25 to 50 percent lighter than conventional winches. Radial winches are also designed for quick installation, via a stud bolt mounting system, and much easier maintenance & servicing.
