Sail Canada Basic Navigation

This Sail Canada course will provide you with all the essentials to navigate to your next adventure. Upon successful completion of the final exam you will receive a Sail Canada certification. This certification is a pre requisite for Intermediate Cruising. Enjoy your learning with hands on activities with a paper chart, plotting protractor and dividers. (Included with your registration).

Welcome to the Sail Canada theory portion of the Intermediate Cruising course for boaters. This course will help you figure out the systems on your boat before your next trip. It is also a great primer if you ever choose to take the Intermediate Cruising Course.

This in-store radio course covers the functionality of a typical VHF DSC marine radio, along with all of the skills you will need to send and receive calls. Upon successful completion of the written exam and oral exam, students will receive a VHF(M)ROC certification.
