Rainman Portable Watermaker - 115VAC - 75L

Produce up to 140 liters (37 gallons) of fresh drinking water per hour with this AC-powered marine desalination system. Simple, rugged, and reliable, it’s a favorite among cruisers and liveaboards needing a high-output electric watermaker. Available in portable or installed configurations to suit any vessel setup.

Two-part reverse osmosis system

This watermaker includes a pressure supply unit (PSU) and a reverse osmosis (RO) unit. The PSU draws seawater, filters sediment, and pressurizes the system. The RO unit then extracts fresh potable water while discarding brine. About 20% of intake volume becomes usable water, ideal for marine tanks. Multiple RO configurations are available to meet different use cases.

Flexible power options

Originally designed for a 2kVA Honda generator, this system also works with inbuilt marine generators or quality inverters. Compatible with both 115VAC/60Hz and 230VAC/50Hz setups, making it adaptable to different electrical systems on board. Modern battery and solar setups can also support it in many configurations.

Portable or installed – your choice

Use the system fully portable, stored in its rugged blue case, or install it with a small footprint. Options include leaving it in a locker with pull-out hoses, temporarily plumbing it to a deck wash fitting, or fully integrating it with autoflush. Each method supports different levels of convenience and use while underway.
