Designed for boaters seeking a compact and efficient freshwater solution, the Rainman 12V DC Portable Watermaker delivers up to 34 litres per hour using minimal power. Ideal for sailboats, powerboats, and remote marine applications, this low-draw system runs on 12-volt DC power and is well-suited for occasional use or as a backup desalinator.
The system consists of two key components:
- Pressure Supply Unit (PSU): Draws seawater, filters sediment, and pressurizes the system
- Reverse Osmosis Unit (RO): Converts pressurized seawater into fresh potable water
Built around a durable triplex plunger pump, this watermaker is designed for simplicity, low maintenance, and reliability. While portable in design, many boaters choose to install this model due to its lower power needs and shorter cable requirements.
