Rainman Portable Watermaker - PETROL - 140L

Make fresh water anywhere with this self-contained petrol-powered marine desalination system. Originally launched in 2014, this portable watermaker redefined simplicity and flexibility for boaters. No external power required—just add fuel and go. Ideal for vessels without a generator or when battery conservation is essential. Also perfect for off-grid, remote, or emergency use.

Gasoline-powered, no electricity needed

Powered by a reliable 2.1HP Honda GXH50 engine, this system drives both the impeller lift pump and high-pressure pump via a belt-driven system. A 700ml fuel tank delivers around 70 minutes of runtime per fill, depending on water conditions and fuel quality. No power conversion losses and zero electrical setup required.

Two-part reverse osmosis system

Includes a pressure supply unit (PSU) and reverse osmosis (RO) unit. The PSU draws seawater, filters sediment, and pressurizes the system. The RO unit converts up to 140 liters (37 gallons) of seawater per hour into potable water, with about 20% of the volume extracted as usable fresh water. Brine is discarded overboard. Multiple RO configurations are available to fit your water output, space, and budget needs.
